Chris Herstam served as an Arizona State Representative from 1983 to 1990, where he served as Republican Majority Whip, Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee and Chairman of the House Counties and Municipalities Committee. He also served as Chief of Staff to former Governor Fife Symington.
